About Lauren

A recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Wilmore received a Bachelor of Science majoring in French, International Business and Marketing. In addition to her education, Ms. Wilmore has years of experience in ballroom dance. While at Washington University she was the President and Treasurer of the Washington University Ballroom Dance Club, founder and choreographer of wuSAUCE (Wash U's PREMIER salsa team) and worked as a choreographer and instructor for organizations such as Stardance, Incorporated and St. Louis Wedding Dance Company. She continues to work as instructor at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), Flavor Dance & Fitness Studio, and the Mahler Ballroom. She is the co-founder and artistic director of St. Louis' Grupo Azucar

About Jeannie

Jeannie Kennedy is a St. Louis native. A recent graduate of Southeastern Missouri State University, she currently teaches Spanish in Illinois. Ms. Kennedy got her start dancing salsa in a club in San Jose, Costa Rica during a college Study-Abroad program. She has taught salsa through the YMCA in Illinois. Ms. Kennedy has the best salsa shines you will ever see. When she is not dancing salsa, Ms. Kennedy likes to play piano, sing, and travel to exotic lacations.
